Preview of Cheltenham New Years Day meeting

Well it’s my last post of the year, and I am going to preview this weekends racing, and specifically the New Years Day meeting at Cheltenham. The feature races are the Dipper Novices Chase and the Victorchandler.com Handicap Chase, both Grade One fare. So today I am going to search my catalogue of micro-niche betting systems to see if we can apply any to the Cheltenham card tomorrow.

I have come up with two appropriate systems, and three potential selections, as below:

Trainer J O’Neill in Class 1 races 2m4f to 3m1f runners aged 6yo to 9yo

Chelt 2:35 Can’t Buy Time f’cast 10/1

Trainer N Henderson with all runners in races up to 2m5f. Class 3 and Class 4 only

Chelt 12:20 Bobs Worth and White Admiral

As usual, I would suggest backing these selections provided they are below 16/1

It just remains for me to wish you a very happy and successful New Year. Cliched maybe, but now is as good a time as any to make some plans for the year ahead. If you don’t have a plan to move forward then its likely you will be in the same position this time next New Years Eve. SkyBlueKangaroo was started in order to serve as a road map for punters, so I hope many of you will continue along this journey with me.

Take care, and I will catch up with you again in 2011.
