Betting With A Gun To Your Head

by Paul on December 24, 2009 · 24 comments

This is one of the most important lessons I have EVER taught!

If you want to discover the one change you MUST make if you want 2010 to be the biggest success possible, then watch this video right now. Its a long video at 49 minutes long, so grab a brew, sit down, and turn the speakers up.

(….allow the video a few moments to load, then click the Play button. And make sure you watch the video the whole way through to discover how I turned one of the WORST days in my life into a day that changed my life forever)

This is the most brutally honest video I have ever made, and I also consider it the most valuable too.

Watch it. Absorb the message. Then let me know what you think in the comments below, OK?

Hi Paul well done with the video it was very good, well just to let you know i have been in a simular position as you have been in the past so you are not alone trust me ,and i intend to get were you are now, so now in 2010 i am totally focused on my goal i don’t look at myself as a gambler but as a investor and treat my horse racing and other sports ( horse racing being the main investment ) as a business.Well done with the video i look forward to more information from you to help make myself and your subscribers succeed .

Hi Col, welcome to SkyBlueKangaroo. Which is the best blog? Apart from mine, you mean? Kidding! I really like Matt Bisogno’s blog at GeeGeez.co.uk, very well written, very informative, and by a guy who really knows his stuff.

Well worth listening to, and as Paul says, discipline is one of the hardest virtues. Find a system and review it over a period of time, if profitable start with small stakes and build a bank.

Cheers

Discipline should be the ” key ” but sadly I still have my lapses ! Very interesting video. I have developed my own ” system ” and have backed them singley & doubles BUT now use ew patents ( regardless of price ) and am now keeping my head above water. I need to find the ” right ” staking plan for I am convinced that is the overall key to success. Am pleased to be on board
Cheers Bob

Paul, do you only bet on horses or on other sports events?
My mind is open but at present I only bet on horses using Paul Ruffy’s excellent service ‘Winning Racing Tips’ which of course has it’s ups and downs but is well in profit providing you follow his tips and bettng stakes letter for letter.
However, I find it MUCH more profitable betting on football (use Matt Houghton’s services) and on golf (I am a keen golfer!), especially on Betfair on ‘in-play’ situations where you can lay bets/ cover bets for nice arbitrage profits. Willing to discuss further.

Hi Mike, I think I have ended up focusing more on horse racing because I have studied it more than other sports. And I think I have spent more time studying horse racing because it fascinates me the most. I guess you end up spending time learning about what most stimulates and interests you.

The best thing of its kind I have listened to and much needed after the depths to which I sank yesterday. The depths always – but always – follow a good run during which you presume to be invincible. Unnecessary arrogance overtakes nevessary self-belief. I know I can do it and I think that your video will make me successful. The main question at present is whether to ’start again’ immediately or take a break. Any opinions? Thank you for putting the gun to my head. To continue the theme, ironically you may well have just saved my betting life.

Hi Richard, thank you very much for your kind words, very much appreciated. I think it goes without saying that anyone punting for any length of time has “been there” but maybe doesn’t like to admit it, even to themselves. My opinion on taking a break? From someone who plays a bit of poker, when you lose a hand with good cards to someone who got lucky with rubbish cards, it’s easy to go ‘on tilt’ and play recklessly, and it’s a good idea to walk away from the table for a while to gather your thoughts. The same can apply to horse racing.

Glad you’re enjoying the content on here, and I hope you will stick around. Paul

Hi Paul my name is steve yesterday was the first time I have visited you web page and the first thing I looked at was your video betting with a gun to your head.
Now normally I would listen for a few minuets and then turn it off but not this time WOW what a good video I was glued to my computer taking in every word it was honest and heart felt and could well be describing me. I am new to the betting game and have a lot to learn but with a bit of luck and the help of poeple like yourself I may have a chance of reaching my dream of becoming a professional better.
I purchased a copy of Going The Extra Mile today on your recommendation so here’s to 2010.
I will be using your site on a regularly and would like to say thanks in advance.
Many Thanks
Steve
